Cavs-Magic - Game 3 (Pick'em)

Sound the alarm. This is soo close to being a 3-0 series.

Well, it's equally close to being 2-1, Cavs.

I think the real alarm should be Orlando is 10-4 the last 14 meetings, including 6-1 at Orlando. Those numbers don't bode well for Cleveland.

Everyone thought during the course of the season that the new upgrades to the team allowed Lebron to take his game to another level. Quite the opposite. Lebron took his game to the next level, and they followed suit due to there being a lack on night in night out challenge in the East. Now, every time they suit up, they are playing a quality team that will not allow the role players to settle into their comfortable zones. Once again, the onus is on Lebron to create. This was easy during the season when playing 4 Atlanta quality teams a week with a Lakers or a Magic or a Boston game sprinkled in every now and then. Now, however, we are in the final four and the defiencencies of this team are being sorely exposed.

I was led to believe during the season that the losses to the Lakers and Orlando and Boston were nothing to worry about, and was told to just look at the rest of the record for reassurance. Well sweeping Atlanta and Detroit is not going to reassure me if this team is bounced, nor should it. This is not going to be a pretty series; Cleveland will be fortunate to escape.

They just need to steal one in Orlando. Problem being... it MUST be Game 4. There wasn't enough urgency from anyone not named LeBron James tonight (even he was missing FTs though) and it becomes worse for me because I have to deal with these dirty fucks from central Florida.

After a while in a 7 game series you feel the impending doom, and that will be at the end of our next loss, but I will literally never hear the end of it. At least twice daily I hear about the '06 Title game.. and that was 3 fucking years ago.

True, that's right. But I can live with it being close to being 2-1 Cavs in the regular season series. But not in the playoffs. Just watching this team, they're not as loose as they once were. How will they respond to being knocked down? That's what I'm interested in seeing.

I wish I could say something to Delonte, Z, and especially Mo Williams. It would go a little something like this...

Guys, congratulations on a great regular season. You all played really well and it looked like you guys would be key to a run at a Cavs NBA championship run. However, you guys have sucked in the playoffs, and are leaving Lebron to do everything by himself. Step up in these next couple of games, or this series defeat is on you guys.

I'm frustrated with this team on so many levels right now.

Plus, just imagine how much better this Orlando team would be if Jameer Nelson had never gone down. Yikes. Regardless of how this series plays out, the Cavs need to make some moves over the off-season or Orlando is gonna run away with the East next year IMO.

I don't think Orlando is anything but a pretty face with a good matchup against this team.

If they played loose, I wouldn't be worrying, but the fact is they're playing like any of us Cavs fans would- tight and scared. They don't want the title of collapse and aren't having enough fun to win games. Orlando got the calls tonight, and they need to loosen up. The pressure on this team really is ridiculous.

does anyone honestly still believe that this team is winning anything?
Of copurse they can , geezee they have had 3 hotly contested games and lost two and all they need is to start making shots. I'm not an NBA fan but even I stand behind the cavs more than a lot of you do. Give me a break and start having some faith in your team.

Not even Game 5. :(

The funny thing is- I wouldn't have given up if this team wasn't from Cleveland. If I was a Carolina basketball fan- and their team won 66 odd games and had the best player in the world, I would be laughing at the Magic right now.

David Stern needs to turn on the foul machine- because if he wants a LeBron/Kobe Finals, this could be his only year to have that happen. Fact of the matter is- it's just a bad bad match up. A team that wasn't challenged all year comes in and faces the team that dismantles them.
