CB Armani Reeves (National Champion)

Well if Mattison being the Ravens defensive coordinator is the scUM trump card, with Sheridan also having been an NFL defensive coordinator, I am calling it a wash.

Add in the his friend is at tOSU and that tOSU has his major, and I am feeling good about this.

The only remaining question ... what is his major? Both schools are large and have lots of majors. Agriculture is the one major I might guess at.

no flame, but I don't know if Sheridan would want to bring up that year with the giants.

Sheridan was dealt a tough hand. Strahan (HOF) just retired and Osi Umenyiora (Pro-Bowler) had a season-ending injury in the pre-season.

It was also the year that Antonio Pierce (Pro-Bowler) was dealing with the legal issues of being with Plax in the the club.

So, I think Sheridan’s resume is impressive enough for Armani. I just think that having his best friend is the tie breaker, IMO.

Good point Luda.

Sheridan should be enough to finish this off.

If we already had a DB coach when Cam committed last week, I think Armani would've already been part of this class and the visit with Mattison may have never even happened.

Ultimately, Reeves will be a Buckeye IMO. Just a gut feeling.

Could you've seen Troy Smith and Ted Ginn playing at two different schools if they had the opportunity (which they did) to play ball together or apart coming out of HS?

I think this is a similar situation.

Have to think if it wasn't for Cam Williams, he'd be Blue by now. Also have to think if it wasn't for a great sell job by Hoke/Mattison, he'd be a Buckeye by now.

Whichever way he goes, this recruitment shows me that Michigan is going to be a force in recruiting for the foreseeable future.

I think if Meyer had a full year and a full staff to recruit, Reeves would've been a Buckeye a long time ago.
