After five seasons with the Denver Broncos, Bradley Roby is set to continue his NFL career with a new team.

NFL Network's James Palmer reported Tuesday that Roby, who played at Ohio State from 2010-13, has agreed to a one-year, $10 million contract with the Houston Texans.

While the NFL's free agency negotiation period began Monday, Roby's deal with the Texans cannot become official until Wednesday, when the new league year begins.

In five seasons with the Broncos, Roby appeared in 79 games with 29 starts, recording 236 total tackles, 60 pass deflections, seven interceptions, seven forced fumbles, three sacks and two defensive touchdowns. He started a career-high 15 games for the Broncos, serving as their No. 2 cornerback.

The Broncos opted to part ways with Roby in free agency this year, however, agreeing to a three-year, $33 million contract with Kareem Jackson – who played for the Texans last year – to replace him at cornerback.

Now, Roby is likely in line to be the Texans' No. 2 cornerback in 2019 opposite Johnathan Joseph.

Other teams that showed interest in Roby included the Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders, according to Palmer, but ultimately, he chose to join the Texans.

BRADLEY ROBY RETURNS IN A BIG WAY
Bradley Roby had a hell of a game in his return to the field, and with a heavy heart.

After a hamstring injury kept him sidelined for five weeks, Roby entered the Texans Sunday night matchup against the Patriots eager to play and with a heavy heart.

Only hours ago, Roby had attended the funeral for his late-grandfather and was determined to play one of the best games of his career.

Roby delivered. He recorded four tackles, a sack and an interception in the Texans 28-22 win.
