Interested in Boston College, Florida State, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech and Purdue.

He was in Ann Arbor for the OSU game. According to unionfutura, OSU has already extended an offer to Dionte. He seems to be favoring Michigan a bit right now, but he also grew up following Florida State. He is also good friends with 2007 UM basketball commit Alex Legion. Yet another recruit in 2007 from the state of Michigan to keep an eye on.
 
I had thought that our offer to Allen helped make us aware of Gant and Bowman. Now it turns out that we're CLOSE to offering Allen, and we've already offered Gant and Bowman. That's interesting to me.

I think that can only bring about added respect from Allen... not to mention we now have one of his best friends in the fold already

From the ND site.....Allen attended ND's Junior Day. Allen says that Michigan (offer) is his leader, Florida State, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Miami round out his top schools. Interesting that Allen states that tOSU is close to offering (thread title may be premature).

That's my bad, I misunderstood, he had a verbal offer with a written one coming after signing day.

we always have a chance until the kid actually signs something, however with that said, it will be a long hill to climb that's for sure. Him helping to recruit his best bud Alex Legion to Michigan doesn't exactly bode well.

However, Michigan did get a surprise from one of the nations best corners, and Ronald Johnson another 07 recruit, favors Michigan about the same as Allen does (regardless what ND says), someone is gonna be a backup in this scenario. Why not go somewhere where you'll be the man. Long time before the 2007 signing day :)
