CB Jeff Okudah (1st Team Unanimous All-American, Houston Texans)

Drafted 21 picks sooner (admittedly in a different draft) than one of the guys that was first team all decade (Dennard - MSU)

The other first teamer: King - Iowa... drafted in the 5th round

So the guys that determine player quality for a living and have actual incentives for being right have one opinion. The guys who do this for... different reasons and with no accountability whatsoever have a different opinion.

“Jeff has been great as far as (meetings) have been concerned,” Patricia said on Good Morning Football. “He wants information. He wants knowledge. He wants to be the best player he can be. From that standpoint, you love guys like that who just love football. We’ve got a long way to go with it but his drive, his enthusiasm, his want to win and be the best is something that I love. I have to do everything possible to try to help him achieve that.”

Help solidify Ohio State as DBU in Detroit......

JEFF OKUDAH
Going No. 3 overall just behind Chase Young, Jeff Okudah was another can't-miss Buckeye in this draft, and he's already showing flashes of that absurd potential in his first few weeks of camp.

Jeff Hafley once said Okudah looked like a "made-up video game character.” And with that play, it appears he can play like one, too. Give him that 99 awareness rating, you cowards.

This fall hasn't been a normal one for anybody in this country.

The coronavirus pandemic didn't stop 51 current and former Ohio State athletes from graduating from the university following the Autumn 2020 semester.

Former linebacker Ryan Shazier, point guard CJ Walker, center Josh Myers, former cornerback Jeff Okudah, defensive tackle Haskell Garrett, former offensive lineman Alex Boone, wing Musa Jallow and linebacker Tuf Borland were among those to earn degrees from their university during Sunday's virtual commencement ceremony.

In total, seven former Buckeye athletes returned to school to take classes and finish their classwork through the degree completion program set up by the athletic department in 1994: Shazier, Boone, Okudah, Connor Curlis (baseball), Sam Jardine (men’s hockey), Isaiah Prince (football) and C.J. Saunders (football). Saunders, who earned a Master's Degree in kinesiology, is currently working on the football staff in an unannounced capacity after having his sixth-year waiver denied by the NCAA earlier this year.
