Haha Yup

Michigan is starting to click very well as a team right now. If you count the exhibition win Vs. the U.S. NTDP U-18's (I'm counting it since they were good enough to upset MSU), Michigan is 8-0-2 since the beginning of February. ND was actually up 1-0 after one period and then Michigan scored seven times in the second. One other good thing for the CCHA, if you guys knock off Ferris State again tomorrow then your almost a lock for the NCAA tournament. Most of your competition for the last few at-large bids have folded down the stretch and you are now in with a small bit of breathing room.

Game two for each of the series will be played tomorrow night, again at the higher seed's arena. If Michigan and Ohio State both win, which they more than likely will, then they are given bye's right into the Super 6 semi-finals that will be played a week from Friday at Joe Louis Arena.

The loss to Ferris was very very tough for the Bucks. I had a chance to speak with both Nate Guenin and Dave Caruso and they tend to think the only way to get in is to win both games in Detroit. Now it might be possible to get in with a win over N. Michigan and a loss to the Wolverines, but that would definitly be stretching it. The good thing is the league tourney will signifcantly help their RPI and give them some nice bonus point oppertunities but beating Northern and UM is going to be tough. Although Caruso is undefeated at the 'Joe so hopefully they can do what they did last year.
