Celtics-Heat 2nd round

fun and entertaining was what I was shooting for with my original comment. That's usually what I want to see when I watch a game. Sure, the offensive execution was lacking, but the jumpshot has been almost nonexistent in the NBA for the last decade, so this is what we have now.

blah blah blah.....if the score was reversed your tune would be different.

If the score were the other way, you wouldn't have bothered to post - thus eliminating my need to respond. The game was ugly, plain and simple, regardless of the outcome.

You may now go back to glory-hunting.

post #71....I post in the thread win or lose. I don't run and hide. And after game 3, I thought Boston had a real strong shot if they won game 4, which I said.

Nah, you just jump from team to team depending on who has the best players. Its cool. Some people don't want to have to die to get to heaven.

Rondo is showing a lot of guts playing with one arm but it is clearly limiting his game. The Celtics have little choice but to play him, though.

As was the case in game four, the Celtics had the lead in game five with 4 minutes to play and lost the ability to score. Empty trips won't cut it late in playoff games, much less multiple ones. It cost them game four, and they now trail game five with just over minutes left in the game/(season).

Boston led by 6 with 4 minutes left but trail by 3 with 1 minute left. Boston has not scored during that time. :shake:

LeBron nails the coffin with a three to complete the 12-0 Miami run, putting them up 6. :ohwell:

Congrats to the Heat for winning the championship.

Oh wait.. that wasn't the championship? Why are they acting like they just won? Why is Lebron crying? I'm confused.

Actually, I'm not. I just remembered the decision show and the intro. They like over-dramatization.

What--you don't think it's a huge accomplishment (one worthy of grandstanding and crying) when a team wins a second round series against a team that was a shell of its former self due to the fact that its three main stars are now ridiculously old and its young star was playing with one arm due to what was, IMO, a dirty takedown move?
