Nobody ever went to that location between King Island and The Beach. The only time I recall seeing people there was during an annual football game that used to be played near the site. I would venture to say most never knew it was there. Also, there wasn't squat there like there is now. Mason has blown up quite a bit since those days.

Don't know if this is the right place but there's a thread going on twitter about the 5 best college football players you ever saw (don't count NFL careers.) Mine would probably be in some order (I didn't do any research, just thought about it for a couple minutes, and I purposefully excluded Buckeyes to try and be more objective)

    Reggie Bush
    Charles Woodson
    Ed Reed
    Adrian Peterson
    Tim Tebow

Any list is incomplete without the immortal Buckeye Giovanni Strassini, TE, Rose Bowl TD scorer, baseball letter winner, positivity chooser.

Didn't the HOF move to South Bend from Mason? What happened there, Notre Dame go through a dry spell of mediocrity and overhype?
