CFB Players Opting Out Of The 2020 Season

If he can get a waiver to play right away.......

If deemed eligible, Taulia Tagovailoa makes a strong case to start for Maryland football

The highly touted sophomore transfer could be the key to the Terps’ offense.

A lot depends on whether Tagovailoa will be given immediate eligibility by the NCAA, but in the past the organization has been lenient with quarterbacks — especially high profile ones.

Whoops...good point....I thought that he had it....apparently the NCAA hasn't ruled on it yet.

Yeah, but tOSU only recruits well because of bag men. I mean, who'd want to play for and get an education at the institution described otherwise?

Oh its definitely going to be spun that "Ohio State players arent option out because bagmen are paying them to play the season" DFBIA is surely already on the case

He's got it now:

Taulia Tagovailoa's transfer waiver has been approved

Taulia Tagovailoa is officially a go for the 2020 college football season. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Taulia Tagovailoa’s transfer waiver has been approved by the NCAA and the former Alabama quarterback is immediately eligible to play at Maryland.

Taulia is the younger brother of former Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who was drafted by the Miami Dolphins with the No. 5 overall pick in this year’s NFL draft. Taulia was also enrolled at Alabama before entering the transfer portal and transferring to Maryland back in May.

According to Fowler, Attorney John Long the handled family’s case over the last three months and Maryland coach Mike Locksley was notified of the news today. Last season, Taulia appeared in three games for the Crimson Tide, completing 9 of 12 passes for 100 yards and a touchdown.
