Chad "LLLL" Henne (QB Kansas City Chiefs)

Henne to Ginn. Who'd have thunk it?
I was actually thinking about that a few moments ago..That's going to sound real weird the first couple times... With a great block by Jake Long, Henne had time to step up in the pocket and throw a 40 yard strike to a streaking Ted Ginn for the TD. Still has to beat out Beck though.

Ginn, Long and Henne.

Isn't there some irony in a team from deep in Florida going after all that Big Ten speed?

I don't think that anyone doubts the skill and athleticism of the best of the Big-10, unless they are mouth breathing in-breds. I'm enough of a homer to think that the SEC is deeper in athletes (which would include depth of speed I guess) across the breadth of the conference than the Big-10, but the number of NFL players from the Big-10 is all I need to look at to make a decision on the parity of the skill levels of our marquee programs.

Problem is they are the majority, you are the minority.

Nah. I'm saying it because, one, it is true, but more importantly, two, I am on your board as a guest. When I smack talk with my OSU buddies here, I say the same shit that drives you crazy. Why? Because it drives them batty. Just smack talk. If you sat down and had a beer or two with most of the smack talkers, you'd eventually get an agreement that you guys have the same kind of studs that we do. But you have the curse of scoreboard to contend with, and that is half the fun of it.

Win the third game in the fall and that kind of crap talk will self evaporate. Until then, fans will engage in smack and say the easy dig. It is temporary at best. But I tell you, just because we might say it does not mean that we all believe it
