Hi,
I may get killed on here for doing this since OSU isn't playing, but I'm hoping I can reach at least someone who would be willing to help me out. I'm trying to buy tickets to the B1G Championship Game this year. I need 8-10 tickets and I don't really have the budget to spend $200/tix. I also don't want to travel to Indy without some confidence of getting reasonable tickets. I can split up 4-4 or 5-5 if necessary. Can anybody help me with the ticket landscape from last year as far as experiences buying tickets leading up to the game and what ticket prices on StubHub/ec... will do as the week goes on? It would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Meh... I'll throw in.

I can't say how Corn-North and Sparty will travel. It's a fairly short drive for Sparty... either from EL or from Chicagoland... but, last year, I can say that even with tOSU having an extra couple of weeks to purchase tix, there were some people outside selling as we walked in. I doubt that you'll find large groups of tix at that point, but you'd all be in the building.

I just sold my Section 143 Row 17s (four in a row) for $1800 in one day on stubhub. I likely could have pushed it to $2000 and still sold based on comparable tix. I just didn't want to deal with the wife if they didn't sell. Anyhow, there's a lot of activity up there and it looks like there may be some nosebleeds in larger quantities.

You can also look into the stubhub LMS (Last Minute Sale) tickets. I'm going to be watching how that works closer to game time myself in interest of next year's game. So, the LMS deal allows sellers to put their tix in possession of Stubhub. They will get the tix to the venue or a stubhub location close by. It allows for you to pick up whatever's left right up until game time (you'll need to verify the exact time). I have to imagine that market operates a lot like expiring options... You may find some pretty good deals there. Who knows.

Good luck.
