Cheap place to purchase Microsoft Office?

Thump,

Since your wife works at OSU, you may want to have her check if she is eligible for a discount. I never looked myself when I worked at OSU, but I was able to get Windows XP, MS Office and Front Page for $100 from the bookstore in Central Classrooms when I was a grad student . There might be a similar discount for employes.
your wife works for OSU? thats one heck of a commute.

buckeyegrad,

I looked up the Buckeye Bundle from OSU but there was some vague language in there about the license running out before you graduate then you lose the usage of the program.

I'll have to go back and read it again to clarify.

Open Office is OK, as a teacher it should not be a problem but in business there are compatibility issues.
never ran into any myself. the new open office (beta still) includes a database program to compete with access (not that anyone uses access really anyways).

i legitimately prefer open office to ms. fuck that little clippy cocksucker and bill gates. 500 bucks to type up shit and use a spreadsheet is obscene.
