Chicago Bulls (6x NBA Champions)

Pacers had more HARD fouls on Rose then the Bad Boys had on Jordan..the Pacers shot there wad..probably Bulls sweep now...Hansborough had the game of his life..Pacers were shooting over 50% for most of the game then in the last 3 minutes nothing..eerily similar to many earlier Bulls playoff wins...Superstar takes over..Defense clamps down..Game Over..

Agree'd and I loved what Deng did. He's had 5 technicals since joining the league so he's far form a dickhead, he just did what Boozer should have since he wasn't helping in any other form.

Luol has become somewhat of a dick, but he's still WAAAYY behind Boozer/Noah.

Great series, too bad the first game was marred by obscene discrepencies in FTA (Rose takes what, 21? 23?) while Collison for the Pacers couldn't buy a call inside.

Second game was equally great, except for some "wtf" moments at the end (Offensive foul on Hibbert, Rose knocking Price down).

Bulls are hanging on, but very fortunate to be up 2-0. Very fortunate.

Should be a crazy game in Conseco tomorrow, the word is they are cautioning the fans to be "un-Bulls fan" like. Apparently they were pretty bad in Chicago, even throwing shit at a section of Pacers fans. Chicago sports radio was disappointed, but you'll have that.

Sooo tired of people complaining about the Refs in the Bulls series, Rose deserved EVERY foul he got in that game. A team that has the games best slasher at home vs a team with a losing record thats defensive plan is to hack the small guy until he doesn't want to go to the hoop is going to get a lot of free throws.

A videos of every foul called on Rose in Game 1 by quarter. excuse the bad quality...

http://www.youtube.com/v/RRPSdFntARc&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3
1st quarter:
first foul - mcroberts or foster? (white big who slides from under the hoop area) just kinda slide over into his path, not a horrible foul but i believe the right call. he didnt have his feet really set and that was a theme here
second foul - no need to explain, hacks on the arms

http://www.youtube.com/v/xz7RuVoiNSk&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3

2nd quarter:
first foul: no doubt
second foul: aj price grabs him as he goes by, no doubt.
third foul: id like a replay or something but to me it seems like a clear rake across the arms

http://www.youtube.com/v/OhG8zfVHFe8&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3

3rd quarter:
first foul: collison from behind, pretty clear hack
second foul: this one imo is questionable, i would towards the foul because of when hibbert jumps, and how he jumps into his body. i could see this as a non call tho.
third foul: shuffling feet, no question.

http://www.youtube.com/v/tUbG-Hz4nq4&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3

4th quarter:
first foul: no question
second foul: hibbert clearly moving no doubt
third not shown: intentional foul to end game

overall: maybe 1 of the fouls called could have been a no call, but other than that.....where exactly is the conspiracy? i understand other calls may have been bad, but lets not act like rose is getting special d-whistle treatment because hes not, he attacked relentlessly and the pacers made a point of fouling.

Sure, in a perfect world every foul called in Rose's favor was legit. But, refs fuck up all the time. They just fuck up less when it comes to superstars.

For example, Darren Collison was absolutely mugged in the lane two straight plays, no whistle. I'm fine with it, playoff basketball, wasn't dirty. Then Rose drives the lane, completely initiates the contact and there is an immediate whistle.

Rose is handled with kid gloves. Last night he took issue with a foul, and the refs allowed him to get right in a players face and whine and bitch. They NEVER let players do that, but with Rose the rules are different.

Guess we will have to agree to disagree, I showed all of his fouls that people have been complaining about, and none of them look like bad calls to me, but I welcome you to point out which one was.

Fast forward to game 3, Foster doesn't get hit with a flagrant or technical for 2 head shots (The one on Deng was awful), McRoberts tries to foul and gets a jump ball, and rose's final layup was a questionable no call.

Rose or a bench scrub, you're allowed to say a few words and back away after taking a head shot, if the ref would have done their job correctly he wouldn't have had to say anything. Or if he just flopped to the ground like D-Wade and CP3 would have done.

In no way do I think the Bulls have been catching any help form the refs this series, some bad calls both ways, but no way have we benefited. The Oklahoma Thunder game 1 verse Denver, now that was a team that got unfair reffing in their favor.

Rose gets foul calls because he is unstoppable, not because he gets star treatment...that is to say, none of Rose's foul calls look like this:

+1 Fuck the Heat....

Looks like I'm rooting for the Bulls, never thought I would say that! (post Jordan at least)

I never would've said that during Jordan. In 2011, however, rooting for the Bulls doesn't seem to bother me.

Lost in all the talk about players is Tom Thibodeau leaving Doc Rivers' side in Boston to take over the Bulls this season. He's known as a great defensive coach, and that move impacted both teams as the Bulls led the league this year.

Thibodeau named Coach of the Year

Beat the Heat!

Interesting that a Miami station is breaking a story that is taking place in Chicago.

And while their own team is currently on the court. It looked bad, but I don't know about ACL+MCL bad. Never know with knees, though.
