Cincinnati Bearcats (Juggalos official thread of Faygo)

Yeah but... there are two programs at UC that are national in scale and reputation. DAAP - Design Art and Architecture Program is the nation's 6th ranked design program according to US News and World Report and fifth internationally by Business Journal. CCM Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music ranks even higher. The marching band program is an orphan to CCM. CCM students are required to take part in a massive number (more than 1,000 per school year.) of concerts, musicals, plays, and operas and thus don't have time for marching band. Probably the only program ranked higher with regard to music and placing graduates in orchestras and NYC and LA shows and films would be Julliard.

Nice to see the juggalos aren't letting a little bit of preseason hype go to their heads.

It's something I hear a lot. Ohio State fans often tell me Cincinnati would be the worst B1G team. I tell them, you know they have been consistently ranked in the top 25 the last few years. I suggest that they would be a top 1/3 team in the conference. Their rebuttal is that Cincinnati would be one of the worst programs. That's the typical T-Shirt fan's mindset, from what I can tell.

Yeah...we all know we would probably walk into the top half of the conference on day one, and when recruiting picks up, would probably end up as a borderline Top 4 team in that conference. We would never get to OSU's level, but I think our ceiling could be the Wisconsin/Michigan/Penn State level. I mean, we know right now that the UC Football Program is better than Illinois, Purdue, Minnesota, Michigan State, Rutgers, and Maryland...and on par with that next step of teams (Indiana, Northwestern, Michigan, and Iowa).

MSU is 29-29 in the last 5 years (we are 38-22), We have both been ranked the same amount of weeks in that stretch (23), we have won the recruiting battle 4/5 of those seasons against them, and after this year, we will have sent the same amount of players in the draft over that span (15). Sure their ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT gets more money, but again, the on field play and health of the FOOTBALL PROGRAM is not the same thing.

Sorry, Fick, but I think it might be a good thing for IU to come out of the gate and spank that ass.

Yeah, the Juggalos can be insufferable when they get a little bit of success. As much as I enjoy rooting for them when they're good, I inevitably know that soon enough, one of those asshats will start popping off that they'll beat OSU, or if they were in the B1G they're be in the top tier. Calm down guys, 2020 was a good year, but 2019 you couldn't beat an average Memphis team(who got boatraced by Ped St), in 2018 they lost to an average Temple program. If you're ready for a big boy conference, at least dominant your G5 conference
