Cincinnati hires Northern Kentucky coach John Brannen to replace Cronin. I suspect he's not the hire Juggalos were expecting.

  2. Other than a few unrealistic nutjobs that thought we should hire Billy Donovan (like he would even take the call) or Rick "Death Penalty" Pitino, the consensus was that Brannen was the best and most likely choice.

Gotta give Mick Cronin a little credit. In spite of only 3 opportunities, while at Cincinnati he managed to lose to OSU in his first season, his last season, and also in the Sweet 16 the one time he got UC there. Impressive.

    ORD_Buckeye Wrong glass, Sir.

I'm just happy that the juggalos finally were able to rid themselves if that albatross of a coach who only took them to 9 straight tournaments and will now be able to take their rightful place alongside Duke, Carolina and Kentucky.

He set a record in 1961-1962 too.

In the 1961–62 season, Robertson became the first player in NBA history to average a triple-double for an entire season, with 30.8 points, 12.5 rebounds and 11.4 assists.
