Cincinnati Bengals (Just Burrow In)

Not a Bengals fan but there’s plenty of time for that. Get Finley in there too soon and you might win a game.

True, don't want to start winning too soon.

If Chase Young is the target, not sure they need #1 overall as long as it's Miami ahead of them. Miami is going QB.

I'm with you. I think Miami likely gets the first pick and will take Tua. But I think we'll want the second pick. Chase is at bare minimum top 3.

Outgained 202 to 20. It’s a miracle they are only down 3-0. Two first downs through 25 minutes and one of them was via penalty.

Dalton is trash. And when he accidentally makes a decent throw, the garbage receivers drop it. The OL as a whole might be the worst I’ve ever seen.

For sure the worst OL unit in the history of the NFL, Mixon can't even barely get a handoff before he gets hit. If Mixon wasn't a woman beater, I'd feel bad for him. But the OL can't really be a surprise with our entire starting OL out and half of our backups. I think the unit is fine for next year if we keep everyone and get healthy.

And Dalton is certainly garbage. Part of me wants to see Finley just to see if he could work, but the other part considers leaving Dalton in as textbook tanking. A few games down the road, I hope we get Finley in there to see what he's got. My concern is we draft a QB with our first pick when the obvious selection should be Chase Young. There are plenty of QBs that would be a good 2nd round selection, but I don't see a QB worth talking in the top 5. And frankly, I'd rather take a LB in the second round if Finley looks serviceable. The LB unit is in a dead heat with the OL group as our worst position group.

The Bungles are probably in for years of shitty football so I agree to build the team with a guy like Predator and wait a year or two for the QB.

That's what I'm thinking. Get Predator and see if Finley is workable for next year. If not, we'll have a top pick and can go for a guy like Lawrence or Fields. I like the 2021 QB crop way better than this year, though there could be some intriguing prospects in the 2nd or 3rd round this year.

Winless Bengals benching QB Andy Dalton; Ryan Finley to start

The winless Cincinnati Bengals are making a change at quarterback, benching longtime starter Andy Dalton in favor of rookie Ryan Finley.

Finley said coach Zac Taylor told him on Tuesday. The players were informed at team meetings before the locker room was opened to the media at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Dalton, who turned 32 on Tuesday, is under contract through the 2020 season and is due a base salary of $17.5 million next season.

Only took an 0-8 start to get my wish to get Finley in. For the Bengals, that's actually surprisingly fast for them to catch on.

I hear everyone on not wishing the Bengals on any Buckeyes lol, but Young is so good even the Bengals couldn't ruin him. See Sam Hubbard, the only competent defender on the team.
