Damn awesome to see Brandon Phillips hit the game winning home in his first game with the Red Sox. And in his hometown of Atlanta.

Oh, and the Reds are well on their way to yet another Bailey loss. Who fucking cares?

I'll give the Reds FO this; when they fail they go full frontal. They hold nothing back.

Massive extension for Bailey then rush him back from an injury to get him re injured then ultimately get the worst season from a starter in 100 some odd years?

THAT is how it's done right there.

2016 bullpen being measured, again, in all time baseball worsts. Not recent, not just 21st century but all-fucking-time.

Can't wait to see the next act in the grand tragedy.

Reds breaking all sorts of ground these days. With last night's win, they are now 1-14 in games that Cody Reed has started.

And with tonight's win, they have guaranteed that they will not lose 100 games this season.

Yay.

Yay.

That 100 loss avoidance should tell you all you need to know about the owner and front office.

It's an easy joke to say they screwed up punting a season but in reality, they (in their minds) were never punting this season.

This was an honest to god-full effort swing at winning.............and the best that will come of it is they won't lose 100 games

The incompetence is breathtaking when you think of it that way.

Reds up 1-0 bott 3

According to Reds radio announcers Jim Day & Jeff Brantley, IF the Reds beat the Dodgers today it would be the first time in MLB history that a team finishing with a losing record swept a season series of 7 or more games from a team finishing with a winning record.
It would also be the first time the Reds would have swept a season series from the Dodgers.

of fucking course

next thought that runs through my mind is all the somewhat good seasons ruined by getting their shit pushed in by the Dodgers (or west coast road trips in general).

fucking bums
