Cincinnati Reds 2020 Season (useless twatwaffles in the playoffs)

Why would a Japanese baseball player choose the Reds?

He either had zero other legitimate offers or he knows he's done and wants to lose face in the smallest U.S. market possible.

Nothing, as with all things Reds, good will come of this.
Maybe he figures if he can slap like Ichiro, in GABP some of those bastards will clear the wall. The, Ka-Ching!!

I think yelling "Woo!" is a slang signal in Japanese meaning you'd like to give someone a blow job.

He catches a Reds game on MLBtv for some reason and hears nothing but "Wooo!" all night. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure the signing out from there.

It's going to be a fun summer when he starts sneaking out to the bleachers in between innings.

Reds To Sign Nicholas Castellanos
January 27th, 2020 at 8:19am CST • By Jeff Todd
8:29am: Castellanos has secured a four-year deal, per MLB.com’s Mark Sheldon (via Twitter). There’s at least one opt-our, per Jon Heyman of MLB Network (Twitter link).

8:19am: The Reds have struck a multi-year pact with free agent outfielder Nicholas Castellanos, per C. Trent Rosecrans and Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic (Twitter link). Further details have yet to emerge.

This is a fascinating agreement for a variety of reasons. Castellanos was the last major free agent on the market, and the last major Scott Boras client to sign. The Cincinnati organization has now poached a top performer from a division rival — and not for the first time this winter.

Most of all, it’s a deal that portends more action to come. The Reds outfield picture is so fully loaded that one or more current players will surely end up out of the frame — perhaps with another organization entirely.

Well bless their little mongoloid hearts, they are trying.

Castellanos, Mustakas, Miley and the new Donger might as well all show up in "ACME" t-shirts because we know they are going to blow up in the Reds face.

I'd like to find a prop bet in Vegas for how many of the 4 spend more than 10 days on the DL this season.

I'm going with at least 3
