Is it me, or have the Bengals just done the impossible by making their clown uniforms look even more rediculous this year?

On a discussion inspiring note...I hate all of these "modern" jersey styles (Buffalo, Denver, Atlanta, Cincy, Etc.). I think we need more classic designs (Chicago, Green Bay, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, San Diego - Powder Blue).

Wow...you know it's a rough football year when I'm talking Unis.
 
I like the old bears jerseys....numbers and a color...I agree it's a joke...It looks a lot more like football with a solid color, a number and a helmet. I couldn't imagine Dick Butus in a damn cheetah suit tackling people..

The San Diego Chargers' original 1960s uniforms were killer, and it's good to see that they've started to wear them again once in a while. And you have to admire the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs for keeping their uniforms almost exactly the same as they were back in the old AFL. I was going to mention the New York Jets, too, but I they have made changes to their uniform in the past before reverting back to the original uniform they are currently wearing. Miami's uniforms have had some changes, too, but IIRC their current uniform matches the original. The uniforms of the other AFL teams still in existance--Boston (now New England) Patriots, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, and Denver Broncos--barely resemble the originals. Of course, the Houston Oilers no longer exist, but the kept their uniforms pretty much the same throughout their existance.

I feel the same way. I try to remind myself that they are supposed to provide extra defense against concussions, and they way they look shouldn't matter...but those freakin facemasks are the worst. Just when you think Peyton can't look like any more of a geek :nerd: . I guess you can look however you want when you are crazy talented and make millions.
