Are you planning on setting up a portal page using some kind of CMS? If so, and if you want help, just let me know. I've been running a site recently using Mambo, and am familiar with phpNuke and PostNuke as well. All of them have some pretty powerful features, and can put together a page that looks alot better than whatever Insiders is using. :hatepc:

I actually looked into Mambo, phpNuke and a a couple others. They're very nice packages, but the amount of coding it was going to take to make them do what I wanted was going to be worse than just starting from scratch.

I've found someone to build the stats engine to my specs, part of that is going to interact with a piece of portal software that ties directly into vBulletin. The ultimate goal is to have sitewide logins and passwords, stats that can be pulled easily into posts, a front page that can dynamically show stats, forum info, news, polls, images, etc., etc., etc. The guy is doing it is the same guy who coded up the arcade area for the vB community, so I'm pretty excited about the potential.

Anyway, thanks for looking out. And hopefully we're rolling out the actual site itself this Summer.

Sounds like big plans. I can't wait to see it all finished. Having everything all integrated together is definitely important, and gives a site a seamless feel (not to mention easier administration). The way the arcade section ties in is slick, so if everything else your guy puts together is that good, this place is going to rock. :banger:
