I believe we have a thread like this last year that tracked who all has lost their black stripes in one thread for convenience. If I have missed it, could the mods please merge? From what I can tell from looking through the player threads, here are all the members of the 2017 and I will try to keep it updated:

As it stands, kicker Blake Haubeil is the only 2017 scholarship player with a black stripe remaining.

Thanks for this @RB07OSU . To anyone's recollection, is this the most black stripes removed by a class in the same amount of time? This seems like a lot of true frosh to lose their stripes right before the season

I was curious about that as well.... Had to do some digging

It looks like
By August 15, 2012 four had lost their stripes: Devan Bogard, Noah Spence, Tommy Schutt and Taylor Decker. LINK
By August 13, 2013 five had: Joe Ramstetter, Dontre Wilson, Mike Mitchell, Ezekiel Elliott, Joey Bosa LINK
By August 17, 2014 eight had: Curtis Samuel, Raekwon McMillan, Darius Slade, Damon Webb, Aaron Parry, Noah Brown, Sam Hubbard, and Jalyn Holmes LINK
By August 17, 2015 three had: Isaiah Prince, Mike Weber, and K.J. Hill LINK
By August 17, 2016 ten had, however, only 7 of those were true freshman: Austin Mack, Michael Jordan, Damon Arnette (RS), Tuf Borland, Joe Burrow (RS), Jonathon Cooper, Joshua Norwood (RS), Dwayne Haskins, and Rodjay Burns LINK

Definitely including him on that, good catch. So including him, that would be one more than the incredible class of '14. Not bad. Good work on the research.

Sheffield already lost his but the early enrollees can get them removed in spring ball, or in the summer (or at any time it seems). I just missed Sheffield since it happened in the spring. I would not be surprised if Myers is next though, although my guess is Tate Martell...coaches are raving on his play and work ethic.

This rite of passage seems to get lost if it doesn't occur during spring or fall camp. I have been unable to locate a date for when this occurred for the following players:

2013: Marcus Baugh, Billy Price, Tyquan Lewis, Michael Hill, Tracy Sprinkle, Chris Worley
2015: AJ Alexander, Jashon Cornell, Dre'Mont Jones, Denzel Ward
2016: Antonio Williams, Jack Wolhabaugh, Drue Chrisman

Anyone know where I can find this?
