Thanks, fly. Looks like Davis is visiting Columbus on the 10th. He almost committed to Va Tech recently so you have to wonder what kind of shot the Bucks have. Hopefully with all the backs we're in on at least 2 of them end up Buckeyes.

Did he "almost commit" to VT after a visit there? If so, then I take that as a positive in that although he liked his visit there a lot, he still came away umcommitted. The visit to us could show him how much better we are than VT...

He was at VT for a game, which is the big difference IMO. Had he been here for the TTUN game, then it would be a different story.

I agree that would have been the icing, but Lane Stadium is a rec league facility compared to the 'Shoe. The field the Crew plays on would be a better comparison with Lane Stadium.

true Lane Stadium isnt exactly the Shoe, but a full Lane Stadium on a football Saturday against in-state rival UVA with the ACC title in the balance far exceeds coming to an empty Shoe in December.

But he is coming for a visit all the same. maybe the staff has a few tricks up their sleeve.

if he was impressed people in blacksburg knew who he was, I'll go down to campus and start reciting his stats to him as he walks around if it makes him feel better.
