In preparation for the 20th season of this shart shake of a franchise, lets go inside the numbers a little:

19 Seasons
88-216 (.289)
1 Playoff Appearance (0-1)
2 winning seasons (9-7 in 2002, 10-6 in 2007)
15 seasons of 10 or more losses (at least 11 in 9 of last 10 years)
10 seasons with at least 12 losses
16.6 ppg over those 19 seasons (an avg of 266 pts per season)
23.1 papg over those 19 seasons (an avg of 369 pts allowed per season)
Finished last in the division 15 of those 19 seasons, including the last 7 straight.

Remarkable.

This requires comment. To have below a .300 winning percentage over nineteen full seasons in the NFL, a league that's set up to make every team around .500 over time, is truly incredible. It may be even more "impressive" as an outlier than whatever the Pats winning percentage has been over the same span.

Hue Jackson is the world's worst coach. Maybe the Clowns should put him in at QB to see if the opposite is true in his case.
Why did you limit it to the world? Why not the solar system, galaxy or even the universe? I looked it up, and couldn't find any coach in history that has coached 32 or more games and has a lower winning percentage. Verdict: Worst Coach of All Time in the Universe.

Foles almost washed out of the NFL when he left the Eagles to go play for the Rams before they had a competent coach. Why would Foles to the Browns be any different than Foles to the Rams?

It would be vastly different. Does anyone think the Browns are as good as the then-Rams? The Browns now, aren’t as good as any team that ever was for any stretch of time, including the 0-16 Lions and the winless-over -a-shorter-season-Buccaneers. Instead of “almost washed out” it would be “got bit by Swagger on the sidelines and died of rabies.”

Thanks to the Eagles Super Bowl run I don't even feel a little bad about the Browns trading away the Wentz pick except that they wasted it on turds like Peppers and Coleman. if they had drafted Wentz he wouldn't be an MVP candidate he'd be the same shitty QB that Kizer is on this shitty team. Foles has been garbage everywhere except for Philly and he just looked awesome winning the Super Bowl due to having great coaching. Sometimes you get players like Foles, Wentz, even Brady that are more of a product of the system than great players. Neither of those teams fell apart when the starter was out. I can't imagine any of those guys coming in and magically making the Browns a playoff contender unless you could bring the whole coaching staff with them. Pretty sure Hue Jackson isn't that guy. Don't worry this draft they'll end up picking the one top 4 QB that ends up sucking while the other 3 become Pro Bowlers, an overrated RB from Ped State, probably trade back into the first round for an overrated scUMer, and trade another 2nd rounder for a career backup QB that will end up losing the starting job to the rookie before the season even starts so they can start the mess all over again.
