Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

I'll believe this when I see it unless someone offers a really good pick for Duke or Ogbah. I wouldn't trade my #2 with uncertainty around Hunt. Things might change by the trade deadline.

I think Dorsey has in mind that he's willing to live with Hilliard or perhaps some other #2 taking over Duke's role if the price is right. Regardless of when we hear a decision about Hunt.

My guess is Dorsey is either going to live with Hilliard or just find another back in the draft for backup duties right away. Hunt isn’t a sure thing at all. No telling what happens there.

I agree that Duke has less value going into next season than he had in the past since they have greatly strengthened the WR unit. I think his skill set would be more valuable with a different team, but if I'm Dorsey I want value if I'm trading him. I'm not cutting him or giving him away for a 5-7 round pick. It feels like if they hold onto him into the season his value might go up if a team needs a versatile RB due to injury. I'd feel a lot better about trading Duke if it happened halfway through the season and we knew Hunt would be eligible for week 10.

Which is right about where we are in terms of guessing on Hunt. You never know where the NFL is gonna land on a suspension but I feel like we are looking at least at six games but possibly more just because of multiple incidents and the NFL can just make the rules up as they go. I also agree you get value in return for Duke but they are looking for what that value could be now. Never hurts to see. Duke has value but cheap young RB are also a dime a dozen in the draft these days. Get value and then just draft another.

About as expected. The league wasn’t considering just the most recent offense. They were looking at multiple offenses. 8 seems fair when you think of the NFL really being able to do what they want and then be judge, jury and executioner.
