Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

Billings is a 1 gap space eater who will "start" based on opponent. Joe Woods showed over a couple seasons of tape, his starting front is quite tailored to the offense he's facing.

Ravens? Billings will be out there probably over OgunJobi. But the Ravens love 2 and 3 TE sets so you'll probably see Andrew as the 1gap nose in most 'odd' fronts against heavy run teams. That's when you'll see him, Richardson and Jobi on the field at the same time. Browns have quite a bit of flexability on the dline at the moment and could (should) have more after the draft.

I really do not see them drafting any DL unless they take a edge rusher. I think after their obvious first-round selection they look for a couple or three LB's and more back seven guys. They also might take a WR and possibly a OL. Most of this is contingent on the fact that they do not sign any more FA's which I wish they would.

I feel like they will be targeting another edge rusher..........

I see them doing both and would actually prefer it. The debate is - what position and when? Two names I like so far in the mid to late rounds - Alex HighSmith and Bravvion Roy.

If Andrew Thomas is on the board at 10, then that will be the pick. I'd be willing to stake my 3rd nut on it. Honorable mention for Kenneth Murray if AT isn't there and we see a small trade down. Then you can double dip in the top or late part of the 2nd, pick up Malik and now you have your linebackers for the next 7 years. Follow it up with somebody like Matt Peart (UConn) and consider flipping Conklin to Bakers blind side.

Agreed. But like I said above, where? I can't see higher than 3rd round unless their board just goes completely off the rails.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if a first round trade-down still resulted in a tackle being selected. Lots of innuendo out there that the front office is fond of Josh Jones of Houston and Ezra Cleveland of Boise State.

I just don't think LB is a position of premium importance to this FO group. Thinking OT, S and DL (both EDGE and IDL) are where we see their focus lie in the first two days of the draft.

Christ, I hope it isn't Ezra.

And the LB spots are exactly how you take what could be a decent defense (Cincy) and make them a bad defense (Cincy)

and that is all they should do is consider they can find a RT on their roster or in the draft or possibly a FA but do not move Conklin

Edit: quite a bit of smoke about Winfield and while there is not much smoke about Harrison and the Browns I would really like him I think he has very good range

Harrison...Smith?

Love me some hit man Harry, but at this point we would be wise to draft young DB's and develop them. Winfield would be promising.

Ahh. That would make more sense. I saw Winfield and couldn't get DB's out of my head.
would you bite on either one of these trades
1)second-round pick for Williams
2)second-round pick and David Njoku for guard Joe Thuney
3)If the Browns can acquire Williams without surrendering their No. 10 overall pick and Clemson linebacker Isaiah Simmons is off the board, as was the case in a recent cleveland.com mock draft, that opportunity is a logical one.

I would do either #1 or #2 with my preference on #2 but I definitely would not trade down
