Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

That wasn't even a late hit, watch in real-time, the way Rudolph awkwardly slung the ball because he was a second from being hit, it was very reasonable for Garrett to still take him down as he could have definitely still thought he had the ball. He didn't even slam him, he rolled over and drug him down. That was 100% Rudolph being mad that he was T'd off on all day, and sucking, and he threw a tantrum. Hell if the refs didn't even flag it.... in this day and age and with Garrett getting flagged for late hits quite often (so you know theres a bit of ref bias there for reputation).... yeah no late hit.

Let's be real, Rudolph acted like a baby, tried to rip Garret's helmet off, kicked at his nuts after he already set Garrett off, then on top of that charged after Garrett. Myles just went way too dang far in dealing with it.

It's like if a women goes to attack you, she may have hit you and punched you and gone flailing after you, but you don't go full retard and KO her... because she's a harmless girl, like Rudolph is.

Apparently an indefinite suspension isnt even a possible penalty under the CBA. How can Goodell assess a penalty that he doesnt even have the authority to make? According to an ESPN piece, Garrett argues that a precedent was set when there was a 3-game suspension for a helmet swing involving Smith and Incognito in 2013, and Garrett is asking for a 5-game suspension.

Where? Not here ...
The only controversy here is whether Mason Rudolph is also a douchebag.
He definitely played a part, and should be suspended like some of the other peripheral participants. 1 game seems fair... would still catch the rematch. Or punish everyone for 2 (plus Myles for ... whatever ...), but I get the argument there is that suspending QB is more costly than a defender... OTOH maybe the QB shouldn't try to rip off helmets himself.

Why ask for 5? I don't know if the Browns actually have a shot at making the playoffs if they went 10-6, but they play the Ravens in 5 games. No point of coming back to pad your stats against the Bungles in the last game of the season. Ask for 3-4 games because anything more than 4 won't make a difference. As it stands Freddie better figure out how to run a effective NFL offense for the next 6 games.

Wasn't the first Ravens game the one where folks were complaining about Garrett because they were trying to contain Jackson? (I may be misremembering)

I was listening to a show with Jim Donovan, Tony Grossi, and Doug Dieken they think the only reason Myles is appealing is because he wants to get the "indefinite" removed so he can be ready for next season's OTAs. They did not think that he would get any type of reduction in games this season.
