The Cavaliers' championship ring features over 400 diamonds and is the heaviest championship ring ever made.
Of course... there was one more side to these babies. On the back side of the rings features a very distinct image. From Kay Jewelers, who designed the rings:
On the interior side of the ring is a line of seven gemstones to represent the best-of-seven games in an NBA Finals series. In the order the games were won, three white diamonds depict the Golden State Warriors and four genuine "wine-colored" garnets represent the Cavaliers, symbolizing the first time in NBA history that any team has overcome a 3-1 deficit to become NBA Champions.

I missed the game last night due to the World Series, but appears like it was a pretty solid ass thumping of a so called "super team" (Derek Roses words, they should check him for CTE) nice to see a good start to the season.

They looked pretty good in the bits and pieces I caught around Game 1. It'll be big having Kyrie healthy to start the season. Hopefully he can stay that way. Of course, the Knicks are hot garbage...

According to ESPN.com's Dave McMenamin, Karen Mulzac-Frye died of cancer. Cleveland.com's Joe Vardon confirmed the news.
The Cavaliers are scheduled to play back-to-back games Friday and Saturday following their season-opening win over the New York Knicks.
A meeting with the Toronto Raptors is scheduled for Friday night at Air Canada Centre, and the Orlando Magic will travel to Quicken Loans Arena on Saturday evening. After that, Cleveland will have two days off before the Houston Rockets come to town on Tuesday.

"That’s got to be our only focus, to win the Western Conference," Green said. "And then, if Cleveland comes out of the east, I want to destroy Cleveland. No ifs, ands and buts about it. But I also know that there’s steps to get to that point. And if and when we get to that point, I want to annihilate them."
Green then reiterated his point, saying:
"I want to completely destroy them. No ifs, ands or buts about it. That won’t change. I’m not saying we’re going to look forward to that. Like I said, there’s a long road ahead. And it’ll be a tough, tough road to get there. Nonetheless, if we get there, and they get there, I want to destroy them. Really ain’t no other way to put it."
