Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Thomas apparently bolted the locker room without answering questions too. He talks an awfully big game for a guy that ballhogs and shoots more than Iverson and who might well be the single worst defender in NBA history

He needs to not start... I mean.. he's just awful right now. And I don't even feel like he's taking shots he shouldn't (vs last year) he's just all out of whack.

Believe it or not, I'd put both Crowder and Isiah on the block and pick up a real big man and real PG with at least some defensive skills. There's always been enough scoring but the chemistry is a huge issue. Put a massive deal together for Anthony Davis/Demarco Cousins and grab the PG this team needs.

I'm right there with you. This team needs to change its identity to beat Boston and Golden State. They couldn't even outscore San Antonio's D League roster last night. Besides, Crowder hasn't been good defensively in years.

“What’s really pissing LeBron off is that he felt like the Cavs could’ve gotten Paul George and Eric Bledsoe, and they didn’t get them,” Windhorst said. “I’m just telling you LeBron is there and he’s like … we could’ve had Eric Bledsoe and Paul George. Instead, we have a draft pick who I’m never gonna meet … and we have Isaiah Thomas, who’s very clearly hampered. And we have Jae Crowder, who’s having the worst year of his career.”

This just keeps getting worse. Gotta agree with LBJ on this one--that Kyrie trade may go down as one of the worst in NBA history.

I think Thomas will improve a bit by the end of the season, but he likely did permanent damage by playing injured last year. Even if Thomas improves, I don't think he'll ever be the player he was. It's become increasingly clear that we got fleeced on the Kyrie trade. The Brooklyn pick probably won't even fall in the top eight.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but I don't think we trade Kyrie for 25 cents on the dollar if David Griffin was still the GM. He had enough sense to drop his pride and try to bring the two sides together.

Aaaand now Dangerous Dan apparently wants to sell the team :slappy: :slappy: :slappy:

Good luck with that chief, considering potential buyers will know the value will be about 1/3 in about 5 months

LeBron James Says He'd 'Obviously' Be Interested in Potentially Buying Cavaliers
NOVEMBER 9, 2017

But if Dan Gilbert ever makes the franchise available to the highest bidder, LeBron James could be interested in buying the team that drafted him first overall in 2003.

LeBron James recorded the first quadruple-double of his career in the Cavaliers' 115-108 win over the Indiana Pacers on Friday.

It's one he'd just as soon not remember as his 26 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds were offset by the most turnovers he has ever committed.

James coughed up a career-high 11 turnovers -- including six in the fourth quarter -- as the Cavs' 17-point lead after three quarters dwindled to as low as five with 1:44 remaining before they held on for the win, just their second in the past eight games.

"It's a four-interception game for a quarterback with a win," James said. "That's what I think of it."
