Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Golden State and Houston are his two best bets to win. Still guessing he lands in LA (playing for the Clippers or Lakers) with Paul George. I bet Bill Simmons was right about the GS leak:

Simmons is a tool box, but eliminate b and I agree completely. LBJ would go to the Warriors in a second if he could, but it’s more likely to pressure Cleveland and get the Clippers/Lakers drooling

After that blowout loss, the team has a negative point differential on the season. I can't understand why Lue is still around. Unless Gilbert is reluctant to pay another coach, it doesn't make sense. Nobody is fixing this team, but Lue is objectively bad at his job.

With the trade deadline just four days away, they're running out of time and options. They can't offer anything alluring to other GMs outside of the draft picks. The entire roster is constructed of old, overpaid players. Thomas had more value when he was with the Suns, and who knows what Love's market is. Honestly, if they don't flip the entire roster this week, I'd see if LeBron would waive his no-trade clause. I'd see if you couldn't get a first-round draft pick or two to rent LeBron for the rest of the year. That sounds dramatic, and I know they're still 30-21, but at this rate, they'll be lucky to make the playoffs. If the playoffs started today, they'd face the Bucks, who would sweep them. They have no chance against the upper crust in the East, and we saw what happened last night when they played one of the best teams in the league.

This started when Gilbert refused to pay David Griffin and has spiraled out of control since then. The Kyrie trade is going to go down as one of the all-time highway robberies.

I'm also sick of the air of toxicity around this team. I'm not sure if LeBron or Gilbert or both are responsible, but it makes them seriously hard to root for.
