Cleveland Indians (2019 Thread of Indifference)

The Indians beat the Red Sox last night, 14-9, to get their first series win in Fenway since 2005.

In the first 54 games of the season, the Indians had zero triples; last night they had three in one game.
Now they will not go to Chicago for a 4 game series against the White Sox and score may be 3 runs the entire series.

Hopefully Minny somehow keeps pulling away and there's no delusions of making the postseason come August. At that point, hopefully the FO looks around, says "welp", and starts selling off assets. Might as well trade Cookie, Bauer and whatever else they can to start rebuilding the farm system so we can, maybe, contend again in 2025. Hell, offer up Lindor if you can get a King's ransom for him because this team is going nowhere before he hits the open market. Deal him now with a few years left on his deal to maximize the return. I'd say JRam, too, but his goose is cooked and nobody would want him. I said he was done after he nosedived in the second half and postseason last year. Huzzah!

And Max Kepler with not one, not two, but three home runs? Max Freaking Kepler?
And once again, Max Freaking Kepler hits three home runs in one game against the Indians. He joins Hall of Famer Ted Williams as the only players who have ever had multiple three-homer games against the Indians. LINK

BTW, Indians lose to the Twins, 5-4.
