And I'm not sure I've seen anyone fall off a cliff as severely and quickly as Ramirez. From MVP candidate to useless.
Jose Ramirez has finally developed into the player we all thought he'd be back in 2015....

On August 17th, Ramirez had a slash line of .303/.414/.640 (OPS of 1.054) with 31 doubles, 37 home runs, and 91 RBIs

In the 25 games since then, he has a slash line of .163/.287/.228 (OPS of .515), with 4 doubles, 1 home run, and 8 RBIs - that is a slump of Napolian proportions

For the season, Ramirez's slash line is now .279/.392/.571 (OPS of .963), with 35 doubles, 38 home runs, and 99 RBIs. Still a good season, but it could have (should have) been so much better.

Hopefully this is just a fluky slump and he gets over it for the playoffs.
