BN $ - Moretti has message for schools still recruiting him

Jake & his family (Mom, dad and brother) were all amazed by the atmosphere at the spring game and meeting with the coaches. Jake says he's open-minded about which OL position best suits him as he's willing to play any of them at the next level. Schools are still recruiting Jake, but he tells them all he's completely committed to the Buckeyes.

Put Moretti firmly in the category of "gets it." Already a true Buckeye. And he looks to have bulked up significantly and his feet have got even quicker. Myers and Moretti is a heck of a foundation for our future OL.

THE Jake Moretti Still Has Eyes On The Buckeyes

Moretti knows he’ll never suit up again for the Panthers, but the Buckeyes haven’t blinked. Urban Meyer has spoken to both Moretti’s parents and Madden. His spot in Columbus is secure … if he wants it.

“They’ve been great through the whole process and have supported me,” Moretti said of the Buckeyes staff.

He’ll graduate early from Pomona, in December, and be in Columbus in January. There’s no timetable for his return or if he’ll redshirt.

“It’s difficult to say,” Moretti said. “I just have to see how the recovery goes.

“I felt like I’ve done pretty well. I’ve just got to stay the course, not get too up, not get too down. There will be rough days and great days. I’ve got to keep a constant attitude. It’s fully recoverable and all up to me.”

Sounds like a grownup.
