Coach Greg Beals (Former OSU baseball coach)

11 years now and the program has sank to new levels. On April 3, 2022, the Buckeyes are 8-15. His record at Ohio State, which should be the premier program in Ohio, is 325-258 (.557), his B1G record is a pedestrian 133-125 (.515), B1G tournament record is 15-14, his NCAA tournament record is a paltry 3-8.

Wright State's coach is 86-41 (.677) in his first 3 years with them.
Kent State's coach is 255-152 (.627) in 9 years
Miami(OH) coach is 197-206, but is 105-77 in his last 4 years (.574)

Per this link https://www.collegefactual.com/rankings/sports/baseball-men/division1/great-lakes/ohio/ - Ohio State is the 3rd best program in Ohio, and that is being generous.
An extremely telling statistic per that web site is "team revenue", or what the program earned

Xavier: $658,850
Miami(OH): $1,187,811
U of Cincinnati: $1,775,336
Ohio U.: $1,088,870
U of Dayton: $795-559
Kent State: $1,238,826
Wright State: $995,975
U of Toledo: $947,997
Bowling Green: $775,016

And what was Ohio State's? The flagship university in the State? The University with the largest athletic budget in the state and one of the largest in the country?

$468,248. That is only 66% of the 2nd smallest and 1/4 the amount of Cincinnati - not the Reds, the Bearcats. It's less than half of Wright Fucking State.

That is pathetic

Beals has destroyed the Ohio State baseball program. He is not Ohio State quality. OSU needs to move on from him.

the Ohio State baseball program brought home $466,248 in revenue and paid out $2,558,868 in total expenses. Unfortunately, that means the program lost money,

That is the kind of hard hitting and insightful analysis I pay my $77.93 a year for.

Making 400 and spending 2.5 million means you lost money?! I'll be damned.

Looking at my wife's credt card statements then, I think she'd be an excellent head baseball coach at Ohio State.
