Coaching changes: coaches hired and fired, comings and goings

Yes, he was elected to the College Hall Of Fame as a coach. However, in my humble opinion, Cooper was a Hall Of Fame manager (not a coach). He was a decent recruiter too; but he was not a "hands on" micro-manager (i.e. like Tressel, etc.). He managed his assisitant coaches and let them coach. In the end he was only as good as his assistants made him.
Could you imagine what Urban or Tressel could have done with the 1993, 1995, 1996 and 1998 teams? Hell, throw in 1997 too.

Only Cooper could have found ways to choke with the talent on hand in those years

Tressel wins 2 NC's minimum with that talent and his style
I don't know if he beats that juggernaut Corn team in '95, but I think he wins it in '96 and no doubt in '98. We also don't have those garbage '98-'01 seasons with Tressel in place the whole time. Could have had a nice little dynasty going.
