Coaching changes: coaches hired and fired, comings and goings

This qtr shows why we lost to PU and Iowa. Not focus or discipline. Do we have 1 coach that can get their attention..or we all touchy feely now. I miss Woody and Coach Knight.

LOL. You must have missed Knight's last 6 years at IU, 4 of which saw first round NCAA exits and the other 2 were round of 32 exits. They probably could have lived up to their seeding if they had a real coach that could have gotten their attention. And of course he couldn't come close to replicating his earlier IU success at TTU. And what about Woody's last year losing 4 games? If only OSU had a real coach that would have gotten their attention.

When we got the ball up 28 to 3 what should of been the message from the coaches..my choice would have been “bury them” instead of coast to the end.

Yurcich isn’t going to go from okie st OC to Ohio st co-oc unless there is an understanding that he will take over as the primary OC soon. Not sure if Wilson will continue to stick around unless he is named primary OC. Similar to grinch/ schiano. We can’t keep them both.
Indeed we either keep the veteran former coach has been there done that and lose the young gun itching for the chance to show what they can do. Or you give the young gun more power and lose the veteran. The only way both can stay is if the veteran is willing to step aside to keep the young gun happy. Given that both Schiano and Wilson appear to have aspirations of being a head coach again. I doubt either is willing to step aside to keep a young gun happy.

Do you really think Urban said coast to the end? Just accept that this was a very good, but flawed team that wasn’t good enough to beat a Bama or Clemson. It’s not because of any lack of message or that the players are too touchy feely.
