Coaching changes: coaches hired and fired, comings and goings

Means Wilson is gone after the bowl or after 2019.

Yurcich isn’t going to go from okie st OC to Ohio st co-oc unless there is an understanding that he will take over as the primary OC soon. Not sure if Wilson will continue to stick around unless he is named primary OC. Similar to grinch/ schiano. We can’t keep them both.

This article on Yurcich (https://www.tulsaworld.com/sportsex...cle_9759d563-2e07-57d0-b2b4-ea5ac0f61007.html) is a bit interesting given the "Beck 2.0" concerns expressed about the OSU-lite fanbase not liking him (can't find where those posts are now), the potential dynamic between him and Wilson, and the intel that Yurcich would be brought in as passing game coordinator/QB guru. I'd be down with a co-OC deal with Stud being gently pushed out the door, Wilson taking over as OL coach/running game coordinator and Yurcich as QB coach/ passing game coordinator. Then use the Stud slot to bring in a young hungry firebrand recruiter to be a dedicated special teams coach and do more to maximize our potential there and help Wilson get some top slob talent.

Drooling over this potential

#1 job for an assistant is to recruit

from the article:

Yurcich recruited and signed Mason Rudolph, who developed into a record-breaking Cowboy QB. Last year, Yurcich recruited and signed Spencer Sanders — the No. 1 quarterback in the state of Texas.

Message to Titty Bar Tom that OSU isn't going to stop recruiting Texas if you ask me.

with ryan day officially taking over on 12/4, with washington being ttun's point man on harrison, and with washington already having worked with day at boston college, i wonder when day first made it known to washington that he was going to be offered a job at ohio state. i wouldn't be surprised if all three guys had somewhat of an understanding -- at least of day's interest in washington -- prior to harrison's commitment date on 12/19.

Even if it isn't true (which it likely isn't), we need to make the DFBIA think that it is.
