High School Coldwater Cavaliers

Coldwater finally fell tonight against Oak Harbor, 38-20. The loss snapped Coldwater's 26 game win streak. Still a very good season comin off the state title last year. Too bad, was hopin to get to watch them in the finals again this year.

PIQUA ? The only thing missing in the Division IV regional semifinal between Alter and Coldwater were the hand-held controllers.

In a game that would've made John Madden '08 proud, Coldwater stunned Alter with a 59-52 win in triple overtime Saturday at Alexander Stadium. The Cavaliers twice trailed by three touchdowns - the final time midway through the third quarter - and never led until the final score.

Midwest Athletic Conference alive and well

By Staff reports

Cavs dropped Westfall 56-14 to advance to the finals matchup with Mooney. Should give Mooney a game, at least. With McCarthy out Mooney lost their QB but more importantly, imo, they lost their best weapon against the pass. Without him I see CW putting up at least 3 or 4 TD's.

Realize this is like 6 months late, but my god what a game that was. I had 50 yard line seats. Mooney was just so much bigger, stronger and more confident........at least at first they were

The one thing I dont like about a line up and smash style is when things dont go your way, you have nothing to adjust to, and you lose, just like what happened here. Gotta give props to Coldwater, they are an amazing program. I also have a hatred for Mooney, so that game really made my day
