Colin Cowherd (Official Ass Hat)

Cow-head and Turd-May and Rome is Burnt Out just stir the pot of poo. This is done to create controversy and make their ratings better regardless of reporting. They stir the manure quite well. Who gives a rats ass about their opinions.....well obviously a lot of sports heads do.

Form you own thoughts Buckeye Nation and slow roast those hogs over a smoker.:oh:

It is obvious a Mallet can't break a Buckeye!

Sports talk radio is mostly for entertainment. Lazy hosts know that making negative or provocative comments about a college football team will generate callers and debate. Why? College football fans while passionate many are irratiomal...just saying something innocuous will drive a whole 4 hour show.

One of Cowherd's favorite things to say is that "fan" is short for "fanatic". No fan is actually rational about his own team.

And if you need a show-filler, have a show of "college football play-off vs. BCS", and you don't need to do a thing - just listen to the callers.

Not to change the subject, but it's pretty funny to listen to Paul Finebaum. One guy can call up talking [Mark May] about Ohio State, and he'll joke about Ohio State along with the caller. The next guy calls, and he shows respect for Ohio State, and Paul Finebaum agrees that Ohio State is a really good team.

Anyone catch Cowherd today? He's always praising Matt Ryan and the Patriots like they're Gods, was curious what he had to say. He also didn't think Aaron Rodgers was that great, when in reality, he's right up there at the top alongside Brady, Manning and Brees as far as how well he plays the position.

Suprisingly took the day off. Doug Gotlieb was in and was getting quite a few emails from Green Bay directed towards colin

He was on at the beginning of the show, but sounded like he was ready to cough up a lung. I was barely paying attention to the show though, so I don't remember how long he stayed on before Gottlieb took over. He did talk about Rogers' great day, but still needed to throw in his "perfect conditions in the dome" argument.

I just remember coming back to my desk, hearing Gottlieb, and deciding that this wasn't going to be a radio day. I can't stand Gottlieb, and I almost always turn off the Big Show.

"Mostly?" :slappy: Gee, I thought at least some people listened to sports talk radio hoping to hear investment strategies or marriage-improvement tips.
Most hosts don't talk strategy..they talk about Mrs. Ryans feet or trash talking or suspensions..so it more entertainment than sports..

Cowherd defended himself a lot today. Gave some minor props to people, but it was humorous listening to him subconsciously make excuses for his ego.

The guy's ego and elitism is way over the top, but it makes for good radio. He does exactly what I need him to do when I'm entering endless lists of things into a database... and what I need him to do is not be boring.

I was just listening to this asshat on the radio and he did a quick 10 second promo for ESPN College Gameday and he had a slight Freudian slip. He said Gameday "Built by the Home Tebow"

I [Mark May] you not.
That was no Freudian slip. The stores are now called Home Tebow.
