So I don't clutter up the draft thread, I'll put this here for reference. Kudos to Thomps for the original post.

This will greatly help people in finding how their players fared in games. These sites are each school's site, and almost all of them will have the stat's up within hours of the game's conclusion. Of course, this site is pretty handy as well, but, if I recall correctly, yahoo was not as accurate with the statistics last year as the individual sites were.

Since this is the draft "Rosters" thread I wanted to invite people to give their thoughts on how they think our drafters will fare this season. Maybe we could get a couple of polls going lets say after the 10th round. First poll idea I have would be who has the best strengths (i.e. QB, RB, WR etc.) We'll try and post them on Sunday night or Monday afternoon depending on the draft status. All input more than welcome.

I think BB36 has, by far and away, the best team.

His one slip up was Darren McFadden, and he was drafted before his toe injury.

But then he got Forsett and Beanie to replace him...

    Disgusting disgusting team.

I disagree. BB36s team is very solid, for sure, but at this point I gotta go with Bucky Katt

    #1 QB in the draft
#1 WR in the draft and "double points" for every time Harrell throws to Filani (which should be about 80 completions)
Solid at RB (even tho picking Hart was a mistake)

What he doesn't have at RB, Harrell makes up for.

Piney's draft has been very good as well, if you ask me.
    #1 RB in the draft
    #2 WR in the draft
    Solid QB (and back-up)
Assuming Minnesota just plugs in RBs, Pinnix will be just fine.

I like my team too (naturally) Assuming my draft board has any credibility (which, obviously, I hope to shit it does) I have the #2 and #3 RBs (Along with the 15th and 21st rated as backups), then #6 and #7 WR (18th rated WR at backup) and the # 11 QB in the draft. Not bad for picking 12th. Of course, if my draft board is bad, then my team sucks.

Anyway, as far as I was concerned the two top players in the draft fantasy-wise were Harrell and Bush. It's amazing that these guys fell to 4th and 6th.

You have to remember that Leach's best two seasons have been with seniors.

Harrell is not a senior and hasn't had the same experience as the last TTU QBs.

Brady Quinn is and was the #1 QB on the board, btw, not Harrell no matter what.

Pinnix was just such a stretch... Kenny Irons is decent. Rice and Hart won't do shit.

Quinn was my #3, and just barely. (although, I admit my #2 might be a stretch, considering what I know about who my #2 was/is and his situation)

    2000 - Leach's first season:

PASSING G Effic Att-Cmp-Int Pct Yds TD Lng Avg/G
    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    Kingsbury 12 116.99 585-362-17 61.9 3418 21 71 284.8

Kingsbury was a Soph. in a completely new system.

    2001
PASSING GP Effic Att-Cmp-Int Pct Yds TD Lng Avg/G
    ---------------------------------------------------------------
    Kingsbury, K. 11 136.80 529-365-9 69.0 3502 25 68 318.4

After a year in the system.

Harrell is a RS Soph, with a year in the system. I'd anticipate 3500 yards and 25 or more TD... I actually have him rated at more like 38/30

    2005 -
PASSING GP Effic Att-Cmp-Int Pct Yds TD Lng Avg/G
    ---------------------------------------------------------------
    Hodges,Cody 12 147.62 531-353-12 66.5 4197 31 67 349.8

In one man's assessment, "Cody Hodges was probably the least productive QB in Leach's system over the last five years and he STILL put up..."

My money's on Harrell putting up better fantasy numbers than Quinn. Quinn's the better QB.. but this is a fantasy league. And, honestly, I doubt ND enjoys last year's success offensively. DOn't get me wrong, they'll still move the ball and still be very good. But, as it is with hype (Note for example, Miami v. OSU 2003 Fiesta Bowl), expectations are often far in front of performance.

Did I mention that TTU plays the likes of SMU, UTEP TCU and SE. Lousiana before they move in to the weak Big XII? (The only Ds they play are Texas and OU) Oh, and they don't have a bye.. that helps too.

I don't think putting Quinn #1 is ridiculous, but you make it sound like Quinn's "far and away" the top pick and, frankly, that's just plain wrong.

In any event, Harrell should not have fallen behind Leak, I think we can agree.

Good assessments so far. I'll admit my team took a huge hit with McFaddens stupidity. Injuries are going to play a major factor with just about all of the teams picking, but usually you get some stats out of your guys first! :roll2:
