    Many of us old fogies remember the 1960s TV series "Combat!" Here are 5 questions that only die-hard Combat! fans (or folks with the series DVD set) would know:

    1. What was the first year of the show?
    2. How many explosions are there in the opening theme?
    3. What was Sgt Saunders' nickname?
    4. In what episode did Sgt Saunders first wear his trademark camouflage helmet?
    5. Originally, Rick Jason (Lt Hanley) was listed first, and then Vic Morrow (Sgt Saunders), in the opening credits. In what episode was Vic Morrow listed first?

    Tie-breaker question: Where was Sgt Saunders' home town?
     
    Looks like you're the only Combat! aficianado here, Mili. I gotta say, I have never even heard of this show...must have been before my time. But since you ask, I'll give it a go:

    Gosh, do I have to choose a game now? If so, then I suppose I'd choose scUM, because the Orange Bowl game will be available for purchase. :biggrin:

    I'd rather wait to choose though - seeing as I'd like to get the BEST game of the season...which could end up being Marshall, for all I know at this point...

    Damn you, FC, damn you. What the hell are the chances...sure, just because FKA decides to guess, everybody has to guess. I always get screwed out of those DVD's. I remember two years ago (I think) when I started a thread on Bucknuts asking Mili for a DVD of the OSU/scUM game...and his reply was to say that the next 10 people who replied would get a copy...of course, that was when I wasn't logged on. Oh, well, how can I bitch? All I needed to do was watch a couple episodes of Combat! Whatever the hell that is....:biggrin:
