Coming Soon (New Movies)

I figured I'd start a thread where people could post upcoming movies they are excited about. Maybe throw the trailers up from youtube and such. That way, the board doesn't get cluttered with four thousand individual movie threads.

For my first entry...I'm fucking pumped for the G.I. Joe live action movie. I was a huge fan as a kid, and from what I've seen, which isn't much, it looks like it could be a good one. I hope they don't fuck it up. My childhood memory deserves better.

My favorite character was Snake Eyes...and he looks like a bamf in this pic. His arch nemesis and Cobra ninja Storm Shadow will be played by the dude from the Korean film "A Bittersweet Life"...and I'm not even going to try and spell his name. It's in the youtube vid up there.

    Chewbacca and wadc45 like this.

all of those, especially fuckin' all of them.

    BUCKYLE Washed

Yeah, I've never been a "trekkie", but the new Star Trek looks pretty cool.

    What is Public Enemies about?

directed by the guy who did heat and collateral - michael mann. it has christian bale and johnny depp. pretty much enough for me to be excited.

it's a crime film set in the 30s about feds trying to take down crime bosses

michael mann is the greatest crime dude aside from scorsese and not counting miami vice

    NFBuck Total Coverage.

Tops on my list: 'Inglorious Bastards' (Tarantino and Pitt, I'm there), 'Angels and Demons', 'G.I. Joe' (simply because I can relive my childhood for 2 hours) and most of all 'The Rum Diary' rumored in 2010 (from HST's novel...I love the book, it was made for the screen and Depp will be playing the lead, Paul Kemp).
  6. BuckeyeTillIDie

This dude was the ultimate B.A. back in the day:

This better not be what he is really going to look like in the movie:

    BUCKYLE Washed

No fucking way. Pause that video at about 2:31. That's what I think Storm Shadow will look like...especially given the pic of Snake Eyes that was leaked.

Fuck. Let this be a joke. Please.
