Coming Soon (New Movies)

My mom has the series. I actually read the beginning part of the first book where people magically vanished and everyone was perplexed as to why. And I stopped. Kirk Cameron hates both of us.
Watch "God is not Dead" as a comedy. . . it is even more hilarious, ten times more. It is derp extreme. Imagine someone painting anyone who believes in evolution as secretly wanting to have sex with monkeys, and you won't reach the level of derp involved. Apparently, some Christians love this stuff though, it makes good cash.

I saw one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Maybe the second one? Who knows.

Is it worth my time to watch them all?
1. Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl - great (79% RT)
2. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men's Chest - enjoyable but not as good as the first (54% RT - which seems low)
3. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - good action, convoluted plot (45% RT - about right)

I'd say all three Rotten Tomatoes scores are a smidge low but pretty accurate. The 4th seems high based on the feedback

You must watch the first, should watch the 2nd and can watch the third to complete the set. I've never felt any desire to watch the 4th, and I've watched the first many times.

4. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - I haven't seen it but almost no one liked it (32% RT)

You know I feel like that at some point these could reach saturation if they crank out one a year, but this...this looks crazy. And amazing. It's cramazing.

At least they're trying to do it the right way. Not simply dropping film after film like the Superhero movies.
They are rotating story arch every year. It's not just the next iteration in the series.

Disney could put feces in a brown paper bag, as long as there is a Darth Vader helmet on it people will buy it.

It'd take six new Star Wars films just to reach equilibrium from the stink of the prequels.
