Something that might make a little sense.....

the NFL all but vowed revenge on Clarett if he tested the draft in court....the league all but owns espn.....the league would love a reason to "blackball" him.....

Okay- But why is Friend going out of his way to paint 13 as the victim?

Then if they figured a way to actually black ball him the cycle would just continue the trend of "the man" be it Giegier, Tressel, or the NFL trying to "Keep him down"

Obviously there are people out there that are going to be sympathetic in that way to the story... idiots though they may be.

Also, what would the NFL gain by smearing Ohio State?

collateral damage or knowing that tosu is clean and will end up looking like the good guys....??

maybe the nfl wants to make sure that the person that tested their rules is playing in canada and will never wear an nfl uniform....

Di- I think the only way they can hurt ole 13 now... is for other ESPN guys to do an expose on how MoC os a bald faced liar by refuting everything he said.

Though, I'm not clear on how that keeps him out of the NFL... he's already proven to be litigious.

Why couldn't they just set him up and take some pics of him smoking pole for crack or something. They did not have to drag OSU into it.
Is that what they did to Kordell?

DH - Your theory would answer my question from yesterday about why Friend would risk so much to bite on the already sufficiently chewed story.

I'm down wit' it.

The NFL doesn't need to blackball him, they should just not draft or sign him. That's no different than applying for a job and not getting hired. That would be fantastic, and would serve mc's worthless ass right.

But that would just continue the media shitstorm... on the anti Clarett side... That and Al Davis is still and owner in the NFL....
