My wife got her BS in Business Administration 17 years ago attending a real, reputable brick and mortar college she never physically set foot on.

So there’s also that.

It’s a story as old as making fun of Matt Leinart for taking Ballroom Dancing in 2005 after he’d already qualified to graduate from USC in 2004.

As the IT Architect of a company with 45 employees that did all the heavy lifting to Exchange in the cloud, Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Teams, and SIP-based call routing/forwarding over the past 18 months, I would postulate my employees would be more effective working 6-7 hours a day from home in quarantine than 8-9 hours a day in the office, where they interrupt each other, take long breaks together, and basically act as a self-feedback loop of efficiency vampires.
