CDC To Release Guidance on Longterm Covid 19 Symtoms

Dr. John Brooks, chief medical officer for the CDC's COVID-19 response, referenced the forthcoming guidance at a congressional hearing in late April. Long COVID, as recognized by the CDC and National Institutes of Health, encompasses a range of illness symptoms that can persist weeks to months following an initial infection with the virus that causes COVID-19, or that can appear weeks afterward. Symptoms can include brain fog, fatigue, gastrointestinal issues, dizziness and shortness of breath, among others.

End of the week after Pfizer #2. I'm 99% sure that my headache the day of was psychosomatic. Zero side effects from either shot. My arm didn't / doesn't even hurt.

Update: I'm good. No issues except slight soreness in the deltoid (could be because I also slept on it a bit). GF hates me that I had minimal issues after she felt like shit for awhile.

Very slight headache on Wednesday, arm was quite sore, and my knees and ankles were aching like I'd hiked 15 miles the day before. Just crappy overall. A hangover without the nausea pretty much covers it. Better by Thursday. Pretty sure I’m not going to die, but I’ll wait for AKAK for my prognosis.

I had aches in my ankles and knees, too. well, I always do thanks to bad hips and diabetic neuropathy in my feet. so that’s normal except it felt way more inflamed.

and, yes, @AKAK, i know my prognosis

Wait a second. I’m not the smartest guy in the room... but... does this mean that I’m going to die?

Got a little tired and sick for a couple days this week, stayed home and took the test to be safe for work. Turned out I was positive for covid. Mild fatigue and slight headaches. Unless something much worse is coming, I wish I just got this shit over with earlier and moved on.

Similar symptoms, so it sounds, as what my wife had. She was in some rough shape one particular day, but she was back to working from home by the end of her first week of quarantine.

Turns out my test was negative, so not sure what I had. I've never had the regular flu or really get sick often, so I'm wondering if I've had it already and just didn't know it. Anyways, getting my vaccine over with on Tuesday though, found a place that will give me the Johnson & Johnson so I only have to get one shot.

It's hard to say. Last March (that is 2020) I was sick, and I mean, really feel like shit sick, not I don't feel great but can still go to work, I mean, chills and misery. I figured that was Covid at the time, although that was a bit retrospect in as much as lockdown had not yet occurred. Anyway... fast forward to November when the wife tested positive. I literally had every same symptom she had, although I think my symptoms were even more mild.. we had not quarantined from each other at any time, before, during or after but I have never tested positive (Tested 3 times now) for the virus. I'm fully vaxed at this point.
