An 84-year-old Columbus man is in good condition at a hospital after a 300-pound deer attacked him in his home.
The big buck came out of some nearby woods, broke through a living room window and gored Alfred Tibor. His 76-year-old wife, Susanna, ran for help. Police Sergeant Anthony Wilson shot and killed the animal in a bathroom.
Tibor's daughter, Eva, says her dad is a "tough old guy." He was born in Hungary and survived the Holocaust and five years in a Russian prison camp.
Tibor moved to the United States almost 50 years ago and settled in Columbus, where he took up sculpting.
