Basically says Title IX is not to blame for cutting some men's sports like gymnastics and wrestling. I know Title IX is a touchy subject in a lot of ways, but I bring it up here because a lot of people point to football (too many players, revenue generation) as the main source of controversy. What are people's thoughts about this?

The only reason wrestling and gym. programs were able to be developed in the 50s and 60s was because colleges were spending NO MONEY on women sports. Now they have to and they don't have enough money. So, it's only fair for them to drop the men sports that they never should have developed in the first place.
