Yeah, Lincoln Riley, Urban Meyer, Matt Rhule, and any "hot" NFL coordinator (Roman, Saleh) never stood a chance. Jerry was due for a retread.

At least McCarthy has actually won something, but I've no doubt most of his staff will be selected for him (if it hasn't been already) and it'll remain business as usual in Jerry's World.

A few years later, the fans will hate McCarthy and Jerry can give them another scapegoat. If/when Jerry dies I've no doubt Stephen will be the same way - what else does he know?

Cowboys were first in total offense and 6th in scoring offense in 2019, despite Dallas having the worst average starting field position in the NFL.

Defense was middle of the pack and special teams were at or near the bottom in multiple categories (see missed field goals and bad field position).

They certainly had some games where they put big numbers on the board. They also had 2 games of 9 points, 1 of 10, and 1 of 15. I have never been impressed by the sequencing of plays from Moore. At times it seemed he forgot Elliott even existed and relied entirely on Dak.

perhaps McCarthy sees something there that he believes he can mold.
