Speaking of Cowboys-Redskins, I'll never forget this one.

Good looking opener, despite being down a few players at WR and CB.

Eagles come to town next Monday, and their last visit didn't go so well for Dallas. Time for some payback.

Dallas looked great. Romo looked sharp, the line was giving him all day to throw. I was very impressed by how Felix Jones and Tashard Choice played. Hopefully Barber does not miss any time, but if he does I feel confident that these two can get the job done. I still feel the D should be getting a little more pressure on the QB than what they have in preseason and during this first game. I think that is something that could hurt us down the road. With the players we have up front we should be getting a ton of pressure. Pacman had some nice breakups filling in for Newman. Kicking coverage looked better than it did at the end of last season and in the preseason, but they didn't face Cribbs so we'll have to wait and see how it is against a better returner. I think getting Keith Davis back last week certainly helped since he was our leader in special teams tackles last season. Overall great game though. I look forward to taking it to the Eagles next Monday night.

Was an amazing game. Had tickets at the goal line on the lower level with the side that had all the TD's scored. First pro game I have been to outside of Dolphins games, definitely a great experience

I've been going to Dallas for a game every year since 1995. I'll be there for the Giants game this year. Love it.

Cowboys 27
Packers 16

First ever win at Lambeau.

Stars of the game?

Tony Romo - undrafted FA
Miles Austin - undrafted FA
Marion Barber - second day (4th round) pick

Gotta love how guys come out of nowhere in the NFL.

i live in Dallas and to me there is a feeling around here that this is the year to win the Super Bowl or they won't be able to get back because the window is closing fast. But i don't get that point. Can anybody make any sense out of that.

I live in Fort Worth and I don't really get that feeling. I feel like people believe that this is the first real chance that we have had to win the Super Bowl in probably a decade. We've got a fairly young team so I think we have more than a few years to win the Super Bowl.

Gonna go out on a limb and say that Marion Barber looks healthy.. :tongue2:

I love watching that guy run. I was rooting for GB, but I don't mind watching Dallas because of Barber. Guy is a beast.

FOX Sports on MSN - NFL - Report: Lions trade WR Williams to Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys acquired wide receiver Roy Williams in a trade with the Detroit Lions, according to a report on the Dallas Morning News Web site.

The Lions will receive first-, third- and sixth-round picks in 2009 in return while also sending over their seventh-round pick, the report said, citing a source. The deal took place moments before the 4 p.m. ET trade deadline.
