Agreed. A tad disappointed on Hamlin but only because we were out in front for awhile and then faded. But hey, land Fuller and this is an outstanding DB class. I see Hamlin as a corner...I really, really like both Davis and Felder there.

Felder is the most underrated recruit in the class.

In the update from Lamont Wade's dad, he discusses the thought of wanting his son to go away for college but also mentions Hamlin and Paris Ford going to Pittsburgh, so..

Steve Wiltfong was just on BM5 on Bucknuts and said he heard from 2 sources yesterday that Hamlin is leaning towards the Buckeyes. None of the top guys in this class from the Pittsburgh area are going to school there, so he isn't feeling the pull to stay in town.

Hamlin's final three is by most accounts, really just a final two at this point, with Ohio State and Pittsburgh being the primary two and Penn State being more an extra hat on the table according to most.

While Hamlin's most likely destination seems to be Pitt, there are a couple of reasons to at least think that he could surprise and commit to the Buckeyes on Monday night.....

I don't think so. Ohio State, and I know this sounds crazy, could absolutely take two more defensive backs to go along with Malik Harrison, especially if they don't end up bringing in another defensive tackle. Fuller, Hamlin, and Rodjay Burns are all so versatile as athletes that they could play cornerback, safety or even–in the case of Fuller and Burns–wide receiver if things played out that way.

While I would love that, the commitment of Burns (at least to me) meant that at least one of Fuller or Hamlin is out. I think Fuller is in and Hamlin is out. Hamlin still has an in-home with Pitt as well as an official to their campus. Unless the staff can talk him out of the visit at their in-home tonight, I think this one is all Pitt.
